ICEBLASTER was founded by Michael Petrovich — draftsman, former Mercedes-Benz sales professional, telecommunications technician, and lifelong car enthusiast.
The story starts with a 1963 Mercedes Benz, purchased just before the COVID-19 lockdowns. Researching the best way to treat its undercarriage and engine components, Michael came across dry ice blasting — a cleaning method that at the time had barely one specialist operator in the entire country. The combination of no water, no chemicals, no heat, and no abrasion made it, in his words, a dream solution for vintage cars.
What began as a personal interest quickly became a professional calling. ICEBLASTER was established to bring this technology to those who needed it most — car restorers, facility managers, insurers, businesses, and anyone dealing with the aftermath of fire, flood, or years of industrial build-up.

The method
Dry ice (CO₂) pellets are accelerated at high pressure onto the surface to be cleaned. The extreme cold — approximately -79°C — causes contaminants to contract and lose adhesion, while the kinetic impact breaks them free. The dry ice sublimates instantly on contact, leaving no secondary waste, no moisture, and no residue of any kind.
